16. March 2017

Dear Evangelist

We have the pleasure to invite you to Finland’s second National Prayer Breakfast, to be held on 16th March 2017 in restaurant Royal at Hotel Crowne Plaza Helsinki. The function will be attended by members of parliament and influential figures from within Finnish society, including the business and cultural communities.

We are expecting 200 invited guests, of whom some 40 will be representatives of foreign parliaments and corresponding events, which have been held elsewhere. Additionally, international guests will be invited by Minister of Foreign Affairs Timo Soini to a dinner, which he is hosting on 15th March 2017.

The event is organized by the Finnish National Prayer Breakfast Association and its steering group, consisting of members of the Finnish Parliament. The program frame for the prayer breakfast closely follows the model utilized by the Brussels prayer breakfast, and contains national and international speeches, high-level musical items and communal prayer.

The theme of the event is "Confidence Towards the Future". On the 16th of March we will begin with breakfast at 07.30. The seminar continues from 10-12, and we will finish with lunch together. The event will be conducted partly in Finnish and partly in English. Interpretation will be arranged. The Finnish National Prayer Breakfast is an invitation-only event to which the media will not have access.

The participation fee for the breakfast, 7.30-9.00AM is €100,-
Breakfast, seminar 10-12AM and lunch 12-13PM altogether €140,-

We kindly ask you to confirm your attendance by 15th February 2017 at the latest, by following the link in the email.

Would you need more information, please contact our secretary, Mrs Kristiina Drotár by email finnishprayerbreakfast@gmail.com .
